Jammin' Juan 2024
Act Now to take advantage of an opportunity to raise your profile on the European jazz scene.
.
Applications for the 17 showcases available at the 7th Jammin' Juan are now open but only until 15th April. Jammin' Juan is a jazz market place for emerging bands taking place from 6th to 8th November in Juan-les-Pins near Nice in the south of France. It's attended by directors and programmers of festivals and clubs from France and across Europe.
Last year the Fergus McCreadie trio became only the second UK based group to play a showcase there; the other was Binker and Moses who played at the inaugural event. We asked Fergus about his experience of Jammin' Juan.
“ I don't think Jammin' Juan is known about in the UK and Ireland Jazz, I was only alerted to it when I got an email. It was a good experience and we were well looked after. Doing the showcase there was like an investment in the future. I don't expect to get gigs directly from it, but it gets your name out there more and helps by making it more likely promoters and media will remember you in the future. “
