Based in Baldoyle Industrial Estate, we are a leading traditional music instrument manufacturer and supplier, servicing the international music market with violins, concertinas, accordions, guitars, flutes, whistles, bodhráns, banjos and mandolins.

We are looking for a talented person to develop into our top creative copywriter as the business grows. Other than being able to play a musical instrument some online writing experience is a bonus but what we are most interested in is intelligence, a strong work ethic and a talent for writing. We are McNeela Instruments and we sell traditional Irish music instruments to musicians in Ireland and all over the world online from our store in Baldoyle, County Dublin.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, with tough targets and strict deadlines your job will include:

Writing:

~ Music instrument descriptions
~ Irish music articles related to instruments
~ Video scripts
~ Instrument buying guides
~ Content for sales & marketing emails

Musician Liaison:

~ Sourcing musicians for online video lessons for a range of traditional Irish instruments
~ Sourcing musicians for instrument product videos

Requirements:

~ Excellent time-sensitive research ability
~ Writing experience including articles, newsletters, emails etc.
~ Knowledge of and involvement in the world of Irish music
~ Ability to work in a team
~ Flexible approach to an average workday
~ Excellent spoken & written English. Gaeilge is a bonus.
~ Ability to play a musical instrument
