EDI Artists Bursary

Kilkenny County Council Arts Office is currently accepting applications for the new EDI Artists Bursary. The bursary offers €5,000 to support artists from underrepresented backgrounds across all art forms. This includes artists affected by factors such as age, disability, gender, race, and socioeconomic status.

To be eligible, artists must have been professional for at least three years, reside in Kilkenny for a minimum of two years, be over 18, and not currently an undergraduate student. The grant aims to enable recipients to concentrate on their artistic development and may be used for activities like mentoring or professional development courses.

Applications should be submitted by email to diane.seale [at] kilkennycoco.ie with ‘EDI Bursary’ in the subject line. The deadline for applications is 4 pm on Tuesday, 30th April.
