The RTÉ Lyric FM garden designed by Paul Martin, called ‘Summertime and The Listening is Easy’, has been awarded one of six gold medals for show gardens at this year’s Bloom. On the design, Martin says ‘The garden is an artists’ retreat with areas to compose and listen to music. Comprised of many interlocking circles; one a pavilion, another an area for artists to perform and another with cut Donegal stone to sit and enjoy the music. The planting in the garden reflects lyric’s corporate colours with a colour scheme of purples and lilacs and creams, under majestic hazel trees. Sculptures appear throughout the garden, placed in the planting.’

This is the second year that RTÉ lyric fm has presented a show garden at Bloom. As well as viewing the garden, visitors are invited to enjoy the live music being put on by Lyric FM over the weekend in their garden.
