COLLIDE: The Altered Hours with Alice Robinson

COLLIDE: The Altered Hours with Alice Robinson

Thursday, 8 February 2024, 10.00pm

Over four nights, beginning in winter 2023 and ending in spring 2024, An Táin Arts Centre and The Spirit Store are collaborating to bring you COLLIDE, a series of late night events in which an eclectic mix of Irish musicians will take to the stage of The Spirit Store, Dundalk’s premiere music venue, with support from the best local talent the North East has, to offer and produced by an Táin Arts Centre.

The Altered Hours are a rock group based in Cork City, Ireland. Their music explores vast psychedelic spaces, immediate post-punk tones, repetitive rhythms and propelling structures. The lyrics bind this wall of noise together, comfortably connecting the escapism of the abstract with the honesty of realism. This duality is played out in song and on stage by the lead singers Elaine Howley & Cathal MacGabhann alongside Patrick Cullen on bass guitar/effects, Nora Lewon on drums & Jack Horgan on guitar.

The Altered Hours will be supported by Alice Robinson.
Unapologetically authentic and laced with a heavy taste of dark humour.
