Join us upstairs in The Bohemian, Phibsborough from 7pm Wednesday 5th July as part of Fleadh Laighean Session Trail for a singing circle led by Seosaimhín Ní Bheaglaíoch, followed by an Irish music session.

Seosaimhín will be sharing and teaching some of her vast repertoire of Irish songs on the night, and all attendees will have the opportunity to share a song or two of their own. t's the perfect opportunity to expand your repertoire, brush up on your Gaeilge or to just sit back, relax and listen to one of Ireland's finest voices in action!

A native of Baile na bPoc in Corca Dhuibhne, Co. Kerry, Seosaimhín Ní Bheaglaoích is a member of the iconic Begley family, descending from a rich musical tradition on both sides of her family - Loinsigh and Fearghaisigh on her mother’s side, and the musical tradition of muintir Bheaglaoich from her father.

Seosaimhín was a founding member of the groundbreaking group MACALLA - an all-female that gained a significant following in the 1980s.

As a singer, Seosaimhín delights listeners with an unrivalled collection of traditional songs from her native West Kerry Gaeltacht – songs that were an integral component of her native tradition and upbringing. She is renowned for her sensitive treatment of sean nós songs, and her distinctive sweet voice, full of warmth and colour.
