Join the Galway Baroque Singers and guest choir University of Galway Alumni Ensemble for a special summer concert on Friday June 7th 2024 at 8pm in St Nicholas Church, Galway City.

Music includes excerpts from Credo by Bond, as well as music by Fanny Mendelssohn, G.F. Handel, Ina Boyle, Seóirse Bodley, Augusta Holmès, Samuel Barber, Gordon Hamilton and Ēriks Ešenvalds.

Guesting choir are the University of Galway Alumni Ensemble who recently were crowed Choir of the Year at the Navan Choral Festival. The group will perform a mixture of contemporary classical and popular music.

The Galway Baroque Singers were formed in 1982 and have been providing high quality level music in Galway for four decades.

The choirs will be directed by Peter Mannion and accompanist on piano by Dympna O’Byrne. Tickets €15 available at the door.
