On Saturday, 25th May 2024, Alfi will perform at Róisín Dubh (Top Bar) in Galway. Doors will open at 8:00 pm for this over-18s event.

Alfi, composed of musicians Fiachra Meek, Ryan McAuley, and Alannah Thornburgh, features a combination of harp, five-string banjo, and uilleann pipes. The group draws inspiration from both Irish and American folk traditions. Their debut album, ‘Say Old Man,’ was released in July 2023.

The trio has received multiple accolades, including the US Embassy Creative Minds Award, the Caoimhin O Dochartaigh Award at the Imbolc International Music Festival, and the Molloy Award at Birmingham TradFest. Alfi was also nominated for Best Emerging Folk Artist at the RTÉ Folk Awards.
