Ciarán Ruby is best known as one third of The Diviners - a folk and traditional act from Cork, Ireland.

He has just released the dark and atmospheric video to his brand new solo release.

It was recorded and filmed over two weeks from December into January 2021, at the height of a third lockdown. In the rich tradition of protest-folk ‘Landfall’ is a song exploring one man’s search for belonging.

Cast adrift from the familiar, the tune that follows it, ‘March of the Dispossessed’, is a call to arms in the struggle for a place to call home. Both the song and tune are new compositions by Ciarán.
