From the last of the great Bards to wonderful present day composers, Dúchas is Dóchas is a feast of multiple singing styles, visual representations and composition all layered with the finest of music and fascinating tales of the people, places, poets and personalities.

Dúchas is Dóchas brings together an extraordinary meitheal of accomplished singers and musicians, young and old, in an explosion of word,music and talent to celebrate the deep well of language and song that fundamentally informs our music and identity.

Ranging in styles from sean-nós to contemporary Jazz influenced composition and layered with some gorgeous musical arrangements, Dúchas is Dóchas will sing to your soul and embolden you.

Featuring Nuala Kennedy and Edel Vaughan on flute, Therese McInerney, Gráinne Cotter and Aindrias de Staic on fiddles, Alph Duggan on guitar, Emer O'Flaherty on piano, Philip Fogarty on accordion with guests Féilim Ó Coileáin, Cadhla Brock, Tim Dennehy, Conn Ó Muineacháin, Enda Haran, champion dancers Seán Browne and Jayden Murray, with further support from Binneas (2023 Gael-Linn winners), The Shannon Sisters and the pupils of Gaelscoil Mhichíl Cíosóig.
