Helium Arts is Seeking to Employ a Visual Artist (part-time) in Dublin

Helium Arts is seeking to employ a professional, multi-disciplinary Visual Artist with a strong collaborative and inclusive arts practice to support delivery of our Creative Health Programme in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of arts and health practice, knowledge of working with underserved and vulnerable communities, possess strong administration and relationship building skills, and have the ability to produce an annual, high quality, collaborative artwork. This position is part-time, 28 hours a week, for 18 months (with possibility of extension) working across outpatients and in community settings, based in Dublin City. The role is due to begin November 20th for induction and training with workshop facilitation with children beginning in the New Year. Training and continued professional development, including supervision and support will be provided throughout employment. Helium Arts is the national children’s arts and health charity, developing the creativity of children living with long-term conditions to support wellbeing including their social connections, self-esteem, and sense of agency. The children and young people we work with include those with disabilities, lifelong physical health conditions and those from migrant and refugee backgrounds.
