In conjunction with the Lute Society of Ireland, H.I.P.S.T.E.R. is pleased to present acclaimed lutenist and theorbo player Andrew Maginley in recital.

Come hear him at 7:00pm on the 17th July at Wesley House, Leeson Park, Ranelagh Dublin 6.

Andrew Maginley is a concert soloist and accompanist, his international career has spanned more than twenty-five years. He specialises in lutes and early guitars and is a champion of the 18th-century baroque lute.

Andrew has continued to give recitals online during the coronavirus pandemic and teaches lute and guitar. His special interests are Baroque art and music in 17th and 18th-century Europe and the Americas; the multi-ethnic heritage of lute/guitar techniques. He is also an accomplished portrait artist.
