Summer Serenade - an afternoon of beautiful vocal music

As part of our Live at Rathfarnham Castle music programme, the Office of Public Works is delighted to present soprano Ruby Boland performing a selection of vocal music including popular operatic arias, Irish airs and selections from stage and screen.
From Clane in Co. Kildare, 19 year old Ruby is a student at Newbridge Vocal Academy where she studies classical singing, repertoire and performance under the tutelage of Owen C. Lynch.

Recent successes for Ruby include 1st place in the Senior Soprano Solo, and 1st place in the Margaret Burke Sheridan award this year at Dublin Feis Ceoil 2023. She also came 1st in the U14, U16, U18 and the Junior Recital at the 2019 Dublin Feis Ceoil. Recent solo engagements include a concert in the National Concert Hall John Field Room, performances with the Owen C. Lynch Vocal Ensemble and Orchestra, The Baldonnel Singers and the St.Cecilia Singers, Dublin.

This delightful afternoon event is free but booking is essential. Tickets are available from Eventbrite and some tickets are available directly from the Castle at 01 493 9462 or [email protected]. Tickets are available from 10am on Wednesday 10th May.
