Caoimhin O'Raghallaigh and Garth Knox in concert in the Orangery.

Despite their very different musical backgrounds, traditional music for Caoimhin and classic/contemporary for Garth, this unexpected duo quickly discovered a real musical affinity in playing together. Encouraged by the success of their first concerts, plus a growing friendship, they recorded their highly acclaimed debut CD 'All soundings are true' with Diatribe records in 2018.

The musical mix of their unusual instruments (hardanger d'amore and viola d'amore) produces an amazing resonance, which is quite unique. Their repertoire navigates inventively between traditional themes, contemporary sonorities and intimate improvisations.

Attendees are invited to make an evening of it with a special pre-concert dinner in The Grain Store, featuring a seasonal menu of fare grown and reared at Killruddery, just a few metres away from your concert venue. The pre-concert Supper will begin at 18.30, with the concert beginning at 21.00 for a duration of one hour.

For guests not booking in for the Supper, the Garden will be open from 20.00 with drinks & snacks available at the beautiful Tea Rooms prior to the conceert commencing at 21.00.
