Working with our wonderful partners at the Italian Cultural Institute and Screen Composers Guild, Viva Fellini highlights the music of Fellini’s close collaborator and esteemed composer Nino Rota. Focusing on some of the greatest musical work across Fellini’s filmography, the concerts will feature music from La Strada (1954), La Dolce Vita (1960), Il Bidone (1955) and Amarcord (1973).

These performances take place at different locations throughout the city with renditions of Rota’s work performed by The Tiny Quartet, a Dublin based ensemble who put their unique stamp on any music that they lay their hands on. From David Bowie to Spandau Ballet, from The Prodigy to Future Islands, they span the decades with their strikingly eclectic performances, veering effortlessly from beautiful, melodic bliss to fiery, foot-stomping dance tunes.

The Tiny Quartet are Sarah Lynch on violin; who is also a film composer, Donal Gunne on
guitar, and Graham Heaney on double bass.
For VIVA FELLINI, the quartet will be joined by the super talented Alison Reynolds on Saxophone, bringing the soundtrack of Fellini to the streets of Dublin.
