The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) is hosting a three-day course on composing for computer games. Areas covered will include a history of computer games, the differences between composing for film and for games, how a score works interactively in a game and the importance of loop progression. Participants will be assigned a brief during the course and will construct a game score that could be used interactively.

The cost for the course, which runs from 10am to 5pm each day, is €380. Logic Pro, Reason and Pro-Tools software will be provided, as well as a Mac computer and keyboard.
