Culture Ireland is inviting applications from Irish artists to participate in a ‘Meet the Irish’ event in New York, taking place from 11 to 14 January 2024. Following its inaugural edition in January 2023, this initiative offers a platform for Irish artists and organisations in music, theatre and dance to engage with North American presenters and festivals. 

The event coincides with the annual meeting of the Network of Irish Cultural Centres in North America (NICCoNA) in New York. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their work to delegates at the Irish Arts Center, New York, on 13 January.

Applications must involve professional artists and have work ready to tour internationally as well as preferably high-quality documentation of their work. They should also be available for preparatory work in advance of the event and willing to present within a designated template and timeslot.
