Closing Night Performance - Continue Reading by Tadhg Kinsella

“Continue Reading” : A Journey Through Sound, Movement & Technology.

Tadhg Kinsella says:

"This sound installation explores themes from my life:

"Dyslexia: Embracing the advantages and disadvantages of dyslexia, I focus on the tactile engagement of electronic music through analog and digital hardware. Creating a sonic representation instead of notated music. Thematic pre-programmed rhythms & noise elements inspired by my relationship of reading and writing. Offering a visceral understanding of the condition. The title inspired from the dread of my school days being asked to “Continue reading”. The installation and performances deal with communication through spatial and sonic interactions throughout.

"Queer Identity: segments delve into the exploration of queer identity, celebrating diversity and individuality. Through aural storytelling and immersive soundscapes, the installation creates a safe space for self-expression and reflection. Drawing on various musical influences and sonic textures, it embraces the multifaceted nature of queer experiences.

"Through these thematic explorations, the audience is invited to engage with sound on a deeper level, fostering empathy, understanding, and connection."
