 If you’re interested in Radio Production, Drama, Factual & Entertainment and getting some great practical experience on your CV,  the BBC has a range of work experience opportunities.

Every placement is different, but your work experience will give you a good all round overview of Radio across music, news, debate and entertainment. The aim is for you to get an introduction to how local, national and international programmes are produced from beginning to end. You may get the chance to watch broadcasts go out on air and understand the production processes.

Factual Central Planning - Research/Runner – Radio & Music (over 18)
Working with the Planning Unit research team to generate and administrate items for daily and weekly network radio output; assist in some paperwork and undertake research for programmes such as Woman’s Hour, Midweek and Front Row; act as an occasional runner to meet and greet guests.
