Cage says that sound simply gets “louder and quieter...higher and lower...longer and shorter” in its activity. I am similarly fascinated by electronic sound being nothing other than itself; my work is solely an experience of sound. Your Location in Space is an environment in which I explore the possibility of my work creating an acoustic space, that affords the listener an opportunity to reflect within an enveloping sonic environment and be afloat in sound.

In my work the compositional energy is focused on the study of timbre of electronic sound: conventional musical concerns such as harmony, melody, or assumptions of the music being explicitly meaningful are not considerations. There are no backgrounds or foregrounds. It is similar to being enveloped by a mist: something you are within, rather than observe from outside.
