From 6 – 7 July 2024, there will be an online course for musicians with an interest in historically informed performance. Places are available to musicians of any instrument with an interest in historically informed performance.

The course will run from 10.00 am – 1.30pm each day (with half hour break at 11.30am – 12 noon).

The course will cover a variety of aspects of baroque music performance, including an introduction to baroque music and historically informed performance.

There will be a participation fee of €80 for the online course.

Any musicians may apply for the online course, regardless of entry into the Irish Youth Baroque Orchestra performance course.

Players may apply for the online course only if they wish.
