Welcome to the second edition of Beat Root, our alternative roots music series in Belfast!

Right in the middle of festival season, Beat Root presents four days of incredible roots music, without the need to pitch a tent and go unwashed.

This year we welcome Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh (The Gloaming/This Is How We Fly), psychedelic samba, distorted jazz and Afro-punk in the form of Metá Metá, English folk hero Chris Wood, and a double bill of Colorado native Josephine Foster and Scottish psych folk phenomenon Trembling Bells.

A full Beat Root ticket is available for the bargain price of £30, or you can pay per gig. All events take place in the Crescent Arts Centre and it’s BYO. See you there!
