Hi all, Caitlín here. Just getting the word out that I recently added an 'Advanced' Course to my website of concertina lessons- www.IrishConcertinaLessons.com. This new course makes the website a complete learning resource for Irish concertina, along with the Starter and Improver Courses for beginner and intermediate levels.

As I was recording these lessons during the lockdown, I was thinking about the whizz-kids! It's directed at that level, as well as for people who've completed the Improver course. In the course, we work a lot on 'developing your own style', plenty of tricky tunes, what chords and ornamentation I'd add in, etc... I've added it all into this course.

Here's a bit about the course:

Through 30+ tunes, I show you:
How I approach a tune
How to get a good rhythm into your playing (bellows bellows bellows!)
My approach to rolls, cuts and grace notes
How to start adding chords, bass lines and rhythmic patterns
PLUS
I want to help you develop your own style. So in this course, we figure out how you can add personality to your playing.
Through a good use of the bellows, chords and ornamentation, we learn how you can start developing your own style of concertina playing that is unique to YOU.

Not sure if you're a Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced? Try out my free sample lessons here, and see which level suits you

Since I started this website 2 years ago, learners of all ages (under 10 years old to over 80 years old!) and all levels have subscribed in 26 countries around the world.
If you've any questions at all, just send me a message - [email protected] - I'm happy to help.
