Visitors to Crawford on March the 1st are in for a treat on Sunday 3 March when  Guitar Plus perform in the Gallery’s iconic Long Room.

The Guitar Plus Guitar Orchestra, is a professional-level, performing guitar ensemble. All members are senior BMus and BAPM students and graduates of the MTU Cork School of Music, under the direction of Jerry Creedon.
Guitar Plus specializes in performing exciting and colourful works composed or arranged for multiple guitars. It is committed to providing a valuable ensemble experience for guitarists of diverse backgrounds, while maintaining musical excellence. Guitar Plus holds multiple concerts throughout the community in an effort to promote an appreciation for and expand the audience base of classical guitar music.

Crawford Art Gallery will also provide tours which are open to all and free of charge. Expert tour guides invite visitors to delve into the National Collection and numerous exhibitions held at Crawford Art Gallery.
