Pianist and composer Conor Linehan will present a concert for violin and piano with Oonagh Keogh which will include a new piece based on and incorporating interviews with friends and family around growing up in Blackrock in the 70s and 80s. This performance is one of a series of free concerts resulting from the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Musicians-in-Residence 2018, a scheme jointly funded by the Arts Council, and managed by Music Network.

Oonagh Keogh, violin

Conor Linehan is a pianist and composer based in Dublin. As a pianist, he has performed with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Dublin Philharmonic and Crash Ensemble amongst others. He has written scores for theatre companies Druid Shakespeare (Lincoln Center Festival), The Abbey, Royal Shakespeare Company, British National Theatre, The Gate Theatre, the Lyric Theatre in Belfast, Liverpool Playhouse, Hampstead Theatre, Coisceim Dance Theatre, The Corn Exchange and Siren Productions. He was awarded the 2010 Irish Times Theatre Award (with Ben Delaney) for Best Sound Design for his score for The Last Days of A Reluctant Tyrant by Tom Murphy. Conor is a member of the piano faculty of the Royal Irish Academy of Music and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Performance in association with Trinity College Dublin.
