Fresh from her acclaimed performances in Australia, renowned singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy is gearing up to embark on an extensive tour across her homeland of Ireland, captivating audiences with her soul-stirring music. The tour, which includes an array of intimate Irish venues, will precede dates in Germany and the UK.

McEvoy’s performances are celebrated for their alchemical effect on listeners, weaving together melodies and lyrics that resonate deeply, mending hearts and uplifting spirits with every note sung.

As the composer, co-performer, and producer of “A Woman’s Heart,” the title track of the best-selling Irish album in history, McEvoy’s influence on Irish folk music is profound. The song continues to captivate audiences and was recently featured in the award-winning TV show “Derry Girls.”

Her latest single, “South Anne Street,” from the album ‘Gimme Some Wine,’ has struck a chord both at home and internationally. The song paints a vivid scene of chance encounters and nostalgic moments, embodying a blend of specificity and universal emotion.

Additionally, “Scarlet Angels,” inspired by McEvoy’s work on the ‘Woman’s Heart Orchestrated’ concerts, has become a beloved staple of her repertoire, with audiences eagerly joining in.

One of McEvoy’s most impactful songs, “Sophie,” described by The Guardian’s David Smith as “an anthem that is touching, inspiring, and consoling thousands of anorexic girls around the world,” continues to resonate globally and is used in treatment centers to aid those struggling with eating disorders.
