Tá an cuardach faoi lán seoil chun amhrán as Gaeilge a roghnú le bheith san iomaíocht ar son na hÉireann ag an bhFéile Idirnáisiúnta Pan Cheilteach 2015.
The search is on to find Ireland’s entry in the Pan Celtic International Song Contest 2015. Each of the participating countries - Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Isle of Man and Cornwall – will enter a song in its own celtic language.
Music and lyrics must be newly composed. Songs may be in any genre… traditional, ballad, pop, folk, rock and the deadline for entries on cd is Friday, 23rd January 2015.
Entries will be shortlisted to compete at the Pan Celtic National Song Contest which will be held in the Seven Oaks Hotel, Carlow on Saturday, 7th March, 2015. Main sponsor of the national contest is IMRO in association with Gael Linn. The prize for the winning song is €1,000 and will go forward to represent Ireland at the Pan Celtic International Festival which will take place in Derry in April 2015.
