The AD Group Classes Autumn Term will start on the 16th of September - for any inquiries, please contact adultdivision@riam.ie 

Please note:

From September 2024 on, RIAM offers an additional level of AD Group Classes for some selected instruments*, the new level being: NOVICE.

Who should participate in “NOVICE” level classes?

NOVICE” level classes are for Adult learners who would like to learn an instrument, with no previous lessons or experience with the instrument.

Registrations for NOVICE” level classes will open soon. (with a limited availability of places)

 

Autumn 2024 AD Group Lessons

  • NOVICE level: New learners with no previous lessons or experience with the instrument (bookable for Classical Piano, Guitar and Violin classes
  • Beginner level:  Continuing Learners up to Grade 3
  • Intermediate level: Continuing Learners from Grade 4 – 6 
  • Advanced level: Continuing Learners from Grade 7+

Tuition is available for the following classes:

(*For instruments/singing with no designated Novice level classes, new registrants are requested to book a "Beginner level class".)

RIAM’s world-class faculty of performers and educators lead courses across a range of musical disciplines including group performance (classical and jazz), musicianship, music history and appreciation, and Continuous Professional Development for music professionals.

Whether you are a full-time or part-time musician, teacher, hobbyist, or amateur with professional ambitions, the RIAM Adult Division is a fun, creative and supportive home for music education in Ireland.

Join a Group or Ensemble

Share your love of music with like-minded musicians at weekly group instrument lessons with expert tutors. Develop new relationships as you improve your performance skills, learn new repertoire and present concerts with your new group. (Max group size 3 - 5). Course lengths range from 8 to 12 weeks per session, running twice per year (Sept-Dec, Jan-Apr) with opportunities to progress to more advanced classes.
