National Chamber Choir September Tour

The National Chamber Choir will take their 'Equinox' tour to three Irish cities in September.

Fresh from their short Summer break, the National Chamber Choir of Ireland will tour a programme inspired by the Autumnal Equinox (with which the concerts coincide), offering ‘the varying representations of darkness and light through a wide range of sacred texts’, from 21 to 23 September.

Led by renowned British choral conductor David Hill, here making his debut with the choir, the tour will call on consecutive days at St Mary’s Cathedral, Limerick; Duiske Abbey, Co. Kilkenny; and finally at Dublin City Gallery, The Hugh Lane, Dublin. The first and last of these concerts have free entry.

The programme for the shows features music by Thomas Tallis, Poulenc, Bach, John Rutter, Rubbra and Victoria. Full details are here.
