The pianist and violist will present a concert that explores the range of repertoire for the duo from Brahms to Arvo Part on 28 July.

Irish pianist Isabelle O’Connell has teamed up with violist Lisa Dowdall to put together a performance of works from Romantic and contemporary repertoire for the duo. Both are new music specialists, appearing regularly with the Crash Ensemble, and with O’Connell recently taking part in the Bang On A Can Marathon. The programme for the concert includes Schumann, Brahms, Arvo Part and Donnacha Dennehy.

Kinsella – Dialogue
Donnacha Dennehy – Reservoir
Jane O’Leary – Forgotten Words

The Dowdall/O’Connell Duo takes place at the Kevin Barry Room at the National Concert Hall on Saturday 28 July at 8.30pm. Tickets cost €10 and are available in advance from the NCH booking office.
