They have on three occasions been voted best group in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, but Lau’s profile is about to be raised to new heights with a first appearance on BBC 2’s Later … with Jools Holland later this month on Tuesday, 20 November (10pm, repeated Friday at 11.50pm.)
