Creative Business Cup: Open Call for Irish Businesses

Tuesday, 2 January 2024, 11.55pm

The Creative Business Cup Ireland (CBC Ireland), part of an international competition for creative entrepreneurs, is inviting applications for its 2024 edition. As the national chapter of this global event, CBC Ireland aims to promote innovation in the creative business sector. Participants will gain exposure to a network of industry professionals and opportunities for global outreach.

Shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas at the CBC Ireland award ceremony and networking event in March 2024 at the new CREW Innovation & Enterprise Hub in Galway. These finalists will benefit from bespoke training and mentorship from CREW’s network to enhance their pitching skills and business plans.

The CBC Ireland winner will receive extensive mentoring and support, including access to international events and mentorship programmes before attending the CBC Global Finals in Copenhagen, Denmark, on June 2-3, 2024. This includes all expenses paid for travel and participation in the international finals, offering networking opportunities with fellow entrepreneurs, international investors, and industry leaders.

Applicants can look forward to a chance to showcase their business, meet with foreign ambassadors, and connect with a global audience. Up to ten successful applicants will be invited to the Galway finals, followed by an awards ceremony and networking reception. The national winner will represent Ireland at the CBC Global Finals, competing with winners from over 60 countries.

The deadline for applications is midnight, 2 January 2024. Shortlisted businesses will receive sponsorship to attend the Irish national finals and a tailored training and mentorship programme.
