National Lottery Arts and Older People Programme

National Lottery Arts and Older People Programme

Monday, 17 July 2023, 12.00pm

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland’s (ACNI) National Lottery Arts and Older People Programme aims to strengthen the voice of older people and promote positive mental health and emotional well-being through the arts. The proposed projects should reflect the partnership approach with the target groups they plan to engage with and have their support in the delivery.

To ensure a strong advocacy message, there will be an opportunity to showcase the projects funded throughout the year. Applicants should endeavor to build this into their project program and budget.

ACNI welcomes applications from various eligible groups. This includes constituted community and voluntary groups operating at a local level, dedicated to supporting older people and showcasing strong partnership working with older people groups. Non-governmental organisations, Local Authorities, and arts organisations that can clearly demonstrate partnership working are also encouraged to apply. The program specifically seeks partnership or consortia-based projects, with partnerships led by age sector providers, arts organisations, or Local Authorities. It is essential for the consortium to consist of appropriate representatives who demonstrate a commitment to collaborative work. Additionally, other specialists who work with older people may be included as named partners in the consortium.

Grants from £1,000 to £10,000 are available.

Application Deadline: 17 Jul, 2023 – 12:00PM
