Creative Project Leader

Friday, 10 April 2020, 12.00pm

The Creative Project Leader role forms part of Sound and Music’s project delivery team, who between them are responsible for delivering the organisation’s external projects and activity.

This role will work across the Audience Engagement Programmes, and encompasses responsibility for the delivery of individual audience-facing projects, both live and digital (including supporting income generation and external communications), leading our Composer-Curator Programme and the British Music Collection, including selecting and supporting composers, coordinating curated content, developing new partnerships, showcasing and celebrating diverse stories, maximising our visibility, and reaching the widest possible audience for new music.

Sound and Music has an open, curious, and generous approach to different forms of new music, and all Creative Project Leaders work across a wide range of musical styles, and with a wide range of composers, creative artists and partner organisations.

Sound and Music is looking for applications from candidates who have experience and expertise in delivering a wide range of audience-facing creative projects, working closely with artists to deliver their vision, and in evaluating and measuring project impact.
