The International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) is hosting its annual World New Music Days Festival in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa from 24 November to 3 December 2023, and in the Faroe Islands from 23 to 30 June 2024. The British Section of the ISCM, represented by Sound and Music, is inviting applications from UK-based composers for the opportunity to have their work performed at the 2024 festival.

Composers are to submit one work via an online application form by the deadline of 22 September 2023 at 11:59 pm. Selection is made by a panel from the ISCM British Section, who will forward six shortlisted works to the International Jury. Applicants from Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have the option to apply through their respective sections. For queries, email grace.bailey [at] soundandmusic.org.
