MXXM: Music for 18 Musicians Reimagined

MXXM is a new version of the live audio-visual performance Music for 18 Machines, an electronic reimagining of Steve Reich’s Music for 18 Musicians. Part programmed, part live response, coupled with a newly developed approach to visualizing the patterns, rhythms and phrases that form the fabric of Music for 18 Musicians, this performance channels the psychedelic and psychoacoustic spirit that is a cornerstone of the original landmark work.
