Dylan Keane is 11 years old, he started playing piano at the age of 7 with Linda Buttner in Trim and Anna Kiselyova from Maestro Music Academy. He is currently studying piano at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Professor Peter Tuite and Professor Anthony Byrne. He is very passionate about piano and really enjoys performing.
Dylan has won 1st prizes in many national and International piano competitions including the Vilnius International Youth Music Competition 2022, 11th EPTA Piano Festival, EPTA cup in 2023 for best overall performance, Feis Ceoil Junior Pianoforte Solo 2023, Piano Talents Milano 2023, International Music Festival Paris 2023 and the César Franck International Piano Competition 2023 in Belgium, 12th EPTA Piano Festival, Feis Ceoil 2024 Claud Biggs Cup 2024 and an Absolute Award in Tadini International Piano Competition in Italy 2024.
Dylan has participated in many festivals and concerts and has attended masterclasses with renowned musicians. In 2024 he performed with the César Franck Chamber Orchestra conducted by Masahi Katayama.
Aidan Keane is 17 years old, he has been studying piano since the age of 8 with Linda Buttner in Trim and Anna Kiselyova from Maestro Music Academy. Aidan joined RIAM in 2023 and is studying under Professor Hugh Tinney. Aidan has always had a very strong interest in music and his dream is to achieve the highest standards of piano performance possible. He hopes to perform and compete both nationally and internationally. He has attended multiple masterclasses with renowned international pianists and has received numerous awards in both national and international piano competitions. He was a first prize winner at the Feis Ceoil 2022 Pianoforte Duet under 17.
Aidan was awarded 1st prize at the 10th, 11th and in the 12th EPTA Piano Festival along with first prize he received the EPTA Cup for best overall performance throughout the festival. At the Castleknock Music Festival in 2023 and 2024 , he won both Piano Solo and Repertoire under 18. Aidan also received a special award for the best performance of a work by Sergei Rachmaninoff to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the composer. Most recently Aidan was awarded 1st prize at the Tadini International Piano Competition in Lovere, Italy.
