Jurmala Secondary Music School in collaboration with the Education Department of Jurmala City Council and European Piano Teacher Association (EPTA) Latvia invites applications from young and aspiring pianists for the XXI International Academic Music Competition ‘Jurmala’.

The 2020 International Piano Competition will take place from 19 - 24 October 2020 at Dubulti Concert Hall, Jurmala, Latvia.
The competition welcomes young pianists of all nationalities, up to 19 years old (inclusive) in 4 age categories:
Category A – up to 10 years old (inclusive)
Category B – up to 12 years old (inclusive)
Category C – up to 15 years old (inclusive)
Category D – up to 19 years old (inclusive)

In the second round, participants of categories B, C, and D will perform one of the selected Mozart piano concertos with the orchestra.
