Irish Language Arts Funding
Cork County Council is inviting applications for funding from individual artists, professional arts organisations, festivals, and voluntary arts groups for Irish language-based arts events, projects, or activities.
The funding aims to support the creation or promotion of new Irish language arts initiatives, encourage public engagement, and increase access to arts through the medium of Irish. Proposed projects can include theatre, drama, storytelling, music, film, and more.
Applicants can receive funding up to 50% of production costs, with a maximum of €1,000 for existing Irish language productions. New events or productions may request up to 60% of costs, with a maximum of €1,500. The deadline for applications is 5pm, 9th January 2025.
