The Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate as Member of the Board of RTÉ.

Candidates must demonstrate in their application evidence of experience at an appropriately senior level in one or more of the below areas.

• Financial / accounting.
• Sustainable development practice and principles.
• Social, educational or community activities or Gaeltacht affairs.
• Arts, music, sport or culture.
• Matters pertaining to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), such as advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in public services, or the delivery of programmes.
• Matters pertaining to the development of the Irish language.
