Arts and Health is now inviting professional artists with an emerging arts and health practice to apply for the Emerging Artist Bursary 2023.

The bursary is open to early-career artists working in healthcare contexts who are not always given the chance to reflect on and examine their practice, compared to their more experienced peers. The bursary provides early-career artists with the opportunity for reflective inquiry to develop and shape their arts and health practice. The bursary is applicable to individual early-career artists working in any artform within the field of arts and health practice in the Republic of Ireland.

The selected artist will be required to share their learning arising from the bursary with the wider arts and health community via artsandhealth.ie. The method of sharing the learning is up to the discretion of the selected artist. One bursary award of €2000 will be offered to the successful applicant.

The deadline for applications is 9 June.
