Crawford Art Gallery is inviting applications for the triennial Gibson Travelling Fellowship Award, offering €25,000 to a professional visual artist from Munster.

The award supports international travel, research, and artistic development. Applicants must demonstrate a clear need to travel outside Ireland and provide a detailed proposal outlining the intended activities, including a budget and supporting materials. The award is open to artists from Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford, or those with a relevant connection to the region. Applications will be assessed based on artistic quality, feasibility, and impact on the artist’s practice.

The application deadline is 12 pm on Wednesday 14 May 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed in June 2025. The successful artist must complete travel by 1 September 2027.
