Arts Council England (ACE) is hiring a Relationship Manager – South East.

There are a number of Relationship Manager opportunities available in the South East area including part time and full time, fixed term, secondments and permanent roles. Roles would be within the following teams: - Dance, Libraries, Music and Education Hubs and Children and Young People.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with or in the cultural sector and in particular with Dance or Music organisations, Libraries, Education Hubs or Children and Young People, or be able to demonstrate transferable skills from a different sector

You will be passionate about diversity in the arts and cultural sector and will have experience of working with artists and creatives from a diverse range of backgrounds.

You will excel at building relationships, be good at influencing people at all levels, and will be able make a strong case for the cultural sector.

You will work with and support a portfolio of funded organisations. This will include ensuring our investment principles are embedded in all their plans, monitoring their performances against funding agreements, and keeping up to date with their artistic and cultural work.

You will need an understanding of how arts and cultural organisations are run, including planning, financial reporting, performance management and governance, and an understanding of the importance of our strategic priorities to our funding and development plans.
