The University of Liverpool is inviting applications for a permanent, full-time Lecturer in Music and Audiovisual Media (Grade 7/8).

The role involves research-led teaching in classical and popular music, and classes for Communication and Media, Music Technology, and Game Design students. Responsibilities include large-group teaching, seminars, and project supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

A PhD in Music or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates near completion. Applicants must have experience teaching music and audiovisual media in Higher Education and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will contribute to the REF2029 submission and engage in relevant research activities.

The position starts on 1 October 2024. Apply by 5 August 2024.
