The Orchard is looking for a Coordinator in the Licensing and Sync Department to join our talented NYC team. The Sync Department is responsible for the soliciting of music from our huge collection of diverse international music for placement in film, TV, advertising and video games.

This entry-level position will focus on administration of all aspects of pitching a track to a production and coordinating the issuing of licensees and invoices.

What you will do:
Daily:
– Establish Daily Priorities of pitches and projects and follow up with labels
– Administer approvals, coordinate completion and ensure the delivery and of licenses, invoices and collection and administration of payments.

Weekly:
– Collect and Manage backup for all prospective synch licenses (Label Approval, Quote, and License Request)
– Collection and administration of payments
– Update all reports on projections, new releases, current pitches and placements
– Reach out to labels for weekly updates on new releases that can be synced
– Request and Setup Payments for Sync Placements

Monthly:
– Monthly wrap up for Accounts Payable
– Reports of syncs pitched/syncs placed
– Coordinate all sync related corporate correspondence
– Generate Monthly revenue report from existing Quarterly projections
– Formulate quarterly sync projection spreadsheets

Requirements:
– Highly organized. Supreme attention to detail, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills required.
– Excellent internal and external communication skills
– Understanding of royalty bookkeeping and Music business finance
– Some knowledge of music licensing preferred.
– Knowledge of diverse musical genres
– Strong Excel skills
– Fluency in Spanish a plus.
