Axis Artist Bursaries 2023

Axis Artist Bursaries 2023

Monday, 3 April 2023, 6.00pm

The 2023 Axis Bursary programmes aim to provide opportunities for artists at all stages of their careers and from diverse backgrounds to explore and develop new ideas. This is achieved through financial support, development space, dramaturgical guidance, engagement with fellow artists, and artist-led sessions supporting sustainability in practice.

The Axis Bursary programmes offer artists the opportunity to dedicate time to their work, receive feedback, access building facilities, and expand their professional network. The bursaries focus on investing in the process and community and are aimed at artists who can commit time and energy to both. Bursaries cannot be used to fund training, accommodation, equipment purchases, or productions.

The 2023 Axis Bursary programmes will run from April to November 2023 and will have three strands: Axis Assemble, Axis Play:Ground, and Axis As Gaeilge.

Bursaries: €2,000 (Axis Assemble / Axis As Gaeilge) / €5,000 (Axis Play:Ground)
