The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, managed by the Irish Research Council, is providing funding for research across all disciplines.

Scholarships are valued up to €31,000 per annum, covering a stipend, fees, and direct research expenses. The programme supports innovative and interdisciplinary research proposals.

The application process opens on 29 August 2024. The key deadlines are 10 October 2024 for applicants, 17 October 2024 for supervisor/mentor submissions, and 24 October 2024 for research office endorsements. The outcome will be announced by the end of April 2025, with awards starting on 1 September 2025.
