Universal Music Group for Brands (UMGB) has announced an opening for a Mid-Senior Creative (Copywriter) in their Brand Partnerships team. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to create engaging narratives across various platforms and demonstrate a strong understanding of current creative and cultural trends. Applicants should have experience in conceptualising, developing, and implementing comprehensive integrated 360 campaigns for renowned brands, as well as fostering robust cross-functional relationships in fast-paced and innovative organisations.

Skills and Experience Required:
1. Creativity: Applicants should have experience in writing and developing award-winning campaign ideas that generate business and cultural impact on both existing and emerging platforms. They should also be capable of conceptualising and copywriting strategic creative concepts at regional and potentially global levels.
2. Commercial awareness: The ideal candidate should remain informed about creative trends and the competitive landscape to motivate and inspire the wider team. They should possess an exceptional design aesthetic and ensure that all creative output aligns with brand and artist standards. Additionally, they should be able to support concepts with visually appealing pitch decks and articulate how the creative vision contributes to business goals, both internally and to clients.
3. Collaboration: Candidates should exhibit a team-player attitude and act as culture ambassadors, both internally and externally. They should also be able to work effectively with internal partners, clients, and external vendors.
4. Organisation: Applicants must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines. They should also be able to facilitate or lead brainstorming sessions with sales or client teams.

Person Specification:
– Experience in a fast-paced agency or similar role
– Expertise in developing and executing various content executions, including branded content, live experiences, and social-specific content
– Demonstrated originality and innovation in creating work for renowned brands or agencies
– Excellent copywriting and design skills for effective communication and exceptional pitch proposals
– Positive and collaborative team player, able to work well with others and within short timeframes
– Proven experience collaborating with motion designers, technologists, live production teams, product designers, and vendors, with a clear understanding of budgeting and scheduling
– Initiative and proactivity in presenting new ideas to enhance creative work and strengthen market relationships
– Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
– Active contribution to the UMGB team culture and participation in team-building activities
– Proficiency in presentation programs, such as PowerPoint and Keynote, and design tools like Photoshop/InDesign or similar
– A passion for music
