Manager - Show Marketing (House of Blues)
Live Nation seeks a Show Marketing Manager to be based at House of Blues, Chicago. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the venue General Manager – with a dotted line to the lead talent buyer and regional marketing director. This person will be responsible for creating marketing plans including: advertising, promotions, PR, social media and media buying for House of Blues shows, including developing and executing events and non-traditional programming in and around the venue.
The Marketing Manager needs to track spends and allocate funds for individual show budgets. Additionally, the Marketing Manager needs to be able to build strong local relationships and communicate with many partners throughout the extended Chicago DMA.
Qualifications:
– 4-6 years’ experience in entertainment industry marketing, preferably concert marketing
– Experience managing and building social channels for a brand
– Strong computer skills
– Creative and proactive thinker
– Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach
– Results-focused and solution-oriented mindset
– Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
– Graphic design experience a plus
