The John Martyn Project is set to perform at Whelan's, Dublin, on 23rd September 2023, Singular Artists has announced. Tickets will be available for purchase on www.singularartists.ie from 23rd June at 10am.

The John Martyn Project, a collaboration of six artists, is dedicated to celebrating the musical contributions of the late John Martyn. Each artist brings a unique perspective to the music, and their diverse backgrounds are reflective of the many aspects and eras of Martyn’s music. The six artists are Blythe Pepino, Kit Hawes, Pete Josef, Sam Brookes, John Blakeley and Jon Short.

Following a sold-out show in 2018 at Camden Jazz Cafe, the group has embarked on several tours across the UK and Europe, introducing more of John Martyn’s music to new audiences. The tour showcases an expansive repertoire, ranging from obscure live recordings to classic favourites, presented with rich harmonies and diverse instrumentation.
